N. 36 Haricot Bag in Green

Pinched bag with a short fixed handle and a long removable strap. All bags are woven by hand from dry elephant grass in Ghana, and finished in France where they are given their final shape and completed with French vegetable-tanned leather handles.

After a background in Textile Design, Inès Bressand graduated from the Social Design Master of the Design Academy Eindhoven, 2013. Her approach is based on materials and collaborations with craftsmen. With them, she develops new ways of working, a step away from tradition, aiming to produce new pieces in a cross-fertilization process.
