Common Projects is a luxury footwear brand founded by Prathan Poopat and Flavio Girolami in 2004. Before the brand was create Poopat and Girolami found themselves working on “common projects” and decided to create a line of premium casual shoes that would feel luxurious. Their first shoe, called the Achilles, was the first sneaker ever made in a luxury footwear factory in Italy. The brand operates out of New York City and produces all its products in Italy.
