Utilizing new technologies and materials, Hatori combines the techniques of making Samurai armor, wood crafts and bamboo baskets to create handbags and accessories. Through revitalizing traditional crafts, Satoko Nakagawa seeks to find a balance between the old and new with a vision towards sustainable design innovation.
