How to use: Incense matches are delicate, do not strike as if you're lighting a regular match. Hold the match close to the tip and without burning yourself strike in a straight line and wait for the flame to reach the incense stick. Once it does, blow out the flame and place it on your mat. If match breaks, carefully light with a lighter and place on mat.

Crafted in Awaji’s Harima region, where incense-making has been practiced for 150 years, Kobe Match Co. perfected a blend of paper fibers, incense, and charcoal to create the ideal strike-on-box incense match.
