Designer Bio

Tokyo-based designer Yasuko Furata founded her label TOGA in 1997 after graduating from the prestigious ESMOD school in Paris. Furata's unique approach to design combines Western styles and traditional Japanese concepts, resulting in a deconstructed aesthetic that features contrasting textiles, appliqué detailing, sumptuous fabrics and voluminous silhouettes.
